Brooklyn is 13 months.

I know, I know,  people usually just do the first year but I'm doing the first 18 months then I'll only do every 6 months. She's just learning so much I have to get it all down.

Height: 30 inches
Weight: 19 lbs 11 oz (she had an ear infection and tummy bug so she lost a little)

Milestones:

-Loves pushing her push toys and is cruising along furniture more so we may have a walker soon.

- Basically eating whatever we eat at meals. Down to 3 meals a day, snack and a bottle before bed. We successfully made the switch from formula to whole milk however......she will not drink milk from anything other than a bottle. Grrr...she's been drinking water and juice from a cup with straw since 6 months but milk has to be in a bottle.

- Learning new words every day! She's added among about 20 others: turkey "kur-kee", yummy "um-ee", cork "coorrrr", juice "oooce", and spoon "poon". She's our little parrot which is a lesson in watching what I say- especially while driving in traffic. : \ I watched my 4 month old niece Harper while I was job hunting and Brooklyn is fond of walking up to her rock n' play and "playing" (read: squealing at her and poking her face) with her while she sleeps so I'm often telling her to be quiet so we don't wake up the baby. Two weeks ago she was playing by herself with her little people farm and squealed at one of the animals. She immediately looked up at me, put her finger to her lips and said "Shhhhhhh.....DAY-DEE (baby)" and continued on playing.

- She is still taking 2 naps a day.


- If there's someone in the room laughing, she'll look up and laugh too. She always wants to be part of whatever is going on. She's also mildly obsessed with Al Roker. I watch the news in the morning which then turns to the Today show and she stops all activity when Al comes on, points to the TV and starts waving and says "OO-ker."
