Faah-sha's Day

Yesterday was Daniel's first Father's Day. My intention was to get up early and make breakfast burritos to bring up for breakfast in bed, but Brooklyn had a different plan. She woke up before all of us, happy as a clam talking in her crib and chewing on her feet. So breakfast in bed turned into breakfast burritos for lunch after church. We got him a card from Brooklyn and a digital picture frame for his office with a flash drive full of fun pictures. We also took pictures for fathers day.

She looked right at the camera with dad...

And not so much with mom....

So I made silly faces and she drooled on me.

Our house only gets good light for like 3 hours of the day- reeeeally early in the morning and as the sun is setting so our family photo is us kneeling in front of the front door because I had to set my camera on the porch railing and start the self timer. Remind me to put a tripod on my birthday wishlist.
