I have been robbed. My best umbrella was stolen.

Ok, so I left it in the gym at a basketball game. What the student who scored my umbrella doesn't realize is that I work on campus and I'm almost 100% positive no one in the state of Oregon has one like it. It's a Gap umbrella and it's pink with dark pink huge flowers on it! I love it not because it's fun and cheery but it's a solid umbrella! Sturdy and compact, it could survive a hurricane. I miss it so. I will find you pink umbrella.

Boot season!

One of the benefits of moving to a completely different climate is that it's the most amazing excuse to get the husband approval on some serious shopping! Since we moved to Oregon at the end of April I can say in all honesty that my summer shorts, sundresses, and tanks (that are normally in heavy rotation from April -September sometimes October in OK and TX) were worn for 5 days....when we went to Jamaica for my best friend's wedding.

While I have a considerable arsenal of fall clothing I didn't realize that I'd be wearing it all but 2 months out of the year (it doesn't help that I'm cold natured). I have several pair of boots but have been on the hunt to add to the collection. They need friends. Same with the jackets and coats - I'm realizing that 9 times out of 10 my cute new sweaters are never seen because they are being covered by the same 3 coats I wear. All. the. time.

So today I thought I'd share my wish list with you- some will be purchased, and some will be purchased in my head -as no human should ever have to pay that much for what I consider an accessory. Unless we win the lottery. Then I shall have them all! Muahahaha! Guess you have to play the lottery to win the lottery. Shucks.

Have I mentioned that I'm mildly obsessed with etsy.com ???? Well I'm mildly obsessed with etsy.com. If you're ever looking for something online and can't seem to find just what you're wanting hop on over to esty and you'll find it.

I could spend days perusing the shops/pages of the thousands of insanely talented vendors on that site. As mentioned in one of my first posts - I'm a dork in constant search of fabulous office finds. (I figure I spend 40 hours a week in that space...I better make it cute!) With my new (permanent) employment in the lovely state of Oregon, I've recently come across some more office geekery to share with you working women who long for chic and fun workplace goodies!
