Day 15-Bible verse


Again I have a lot but I will only share 1 passage


Matthew 6:25-34 (NIV)


25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?


28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.




On a side note - I've noticed this exercise and life in general the past few weeks have me wanting to write about other things too- so I have like 5 draft blogs that I'm working on as while I'm doing this- but I won't bombard you with 3 posts a day - I'm saving them for February.  :) Who woulda thunk while looking for a picture that makes me happy I grew a new idea. Hooray for writing!

Day 12: Belief

Day 12-What you believe

I believe in God.

I believe that He sent his son Jesus Christ to be an example of how we should live.

I believe Jesus Christ died for our sins.

I believe Christ rose from the dead and ascended to heaven.

I believe in heaven.

I believe in treating others the way I'd want to be treated.

I believe in the healing power of prayer.

I believe actions speak louder than words.

I believe we all screw up.

I believe the whole College bowl game setup is jipping fans and cheapening the bowl experience.

I believe in playoffs.

I believe cheese makes everything better.

I believe Marino Rivera is the greatest closer in the history of baseball.

I believe my husband is quite possibly the most patient man on earth.

I believe in second chances.
I believe that Christians are called to love- regardless of race, gender, sexuality, beliefs, mistakes, or political parties. 

I believe that if you don't learn from your mistakes you are destined to repeat them.

I believe that if scam artists used their power (aka brains) for good they'd be some of the richest, most powerful people on earth.

I believe that What-a-burger makes the best french fries in the world.
I believe Christ calls us to love as he first loved us.
I believe I have been blessed infinitely more than I deserve.

I believe GOD. IS. LOVE.
I believe love wins.
Love wins.

"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jer. 29:11
