I'm a jerk.....

For the past 2 years part of my morning ritual is the "Today" Show. I flip in on every morning and watch as I eat breakfast, and then in 15 minute increments, my "toady show breaks", between blow-drying my hair, putting on makeup, and changing my outfit for the 4th time.

Every day I see the same man in the plaza audience. Unlike the rest of the sign toting, screaming crowd he just...well...stands there. To be honest, he creeped me out. I figured he was some homeless looney who possibly had a stalking problem. I mean look at him...not even a smile.

I thought surely other Today show watchers had to have noticed him too- someone knows his story. Today I got sick of wondering and did what any good investigator would do....I got on google and typed in "creepy guy on the 'Today' show."

Turns out I was the only one who didn't know his story. There's like 5 NY Times articles on him! After reading them I felt like a total jerk for just assuming this guy was some kind of freak. So for those of you who are 10 years behind the times like I am ....meet Linny Boyette.......
