What's in a name??

I've wanted to enter the blog world for some time but have always thought I needed to be a pulitzer prize winning writer and more importantly have "something" to blog about. I began thinking about all the possible topics I could write about and several subjects came to mind. 1.) Family...but I'm a newlywed and don't think blogging about my husband would make for a healthy marriage. 2.)My job...I have a pretty cool job that I love- then I read online about some lady who got fired for blogging about work. 3.) Cooking, photography, sports, travel, shopping, music, tv...all things that I love but don't really feel that I would qualify as an "expert" on. 


A few weeks ago I was in my car heading home from work, pondering why I was having such a difficult time getting started. Surely with all of the random thoughts that pass through my brain I could write about a different topic every day! So why not write about everything?!? Why shouldn't I just write about all the topics I listed above?? I thought it fitting to be sure the name of my blog reflects what I am blogging about. I decided (with the help of my husband) that "31 Flavors" would become the moniker of my new blog.
